Colleen Coen

Colleen Coen is a bay area native, having been born and raised in San Mateo. She attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation in 2005 and a backpacking trip through Europe, Colleen returned to the peninsula to attend law school.

Colleen attended law school at the University of Santa Clara, graduating in 2008. While in law school, she volunteered with the program FLY (Fresh Lifelines for Youth) and was awarded a CALI Excellence for the future award for achievement in the study of Family Law. Colleen was admitted to practice law in California in 2008. She is currently a member of the San Mateo County Bar Association, including the Barristers and Family Law Sections.

Since 2009 Colleen has been an Associate with the Law Offices of Modena & Royce. Her main practice area is Family Law, which includes all aspects of dissolution of marriage, custody and visitation, property division, child and spousal support, Marital Settlement Agreements. Whether your separation or divorce is amicable or contested, Colleen understands how difficult the process can be and will advocate for you and ensure that your legal rights are protected.

Modena & Royce has over 40 years of experience in general civil litigation and in her time with this firm, Colleen has been responsible for cases through inception to trial and appeal.

Colleen currently resides in San Francisco and when she is not out enjoying and exploring the city she is often traveling. Some of her recent trips include local adventures such as Lake Tahoe and international in Japan. When not traveling or working on behalf of her clients, Colleen enjoys cooking for family and friends, going to Giants games, yoga, and golf.
